2 Basic Circuits: Voltage divider using resistor, RC Circuit 1

5 Wireless Communication: using infrared diode and detector, using a light emitting diode and light dependent resistor 2
6 Introduction to the Arduino microcontroller 4

Course Objectives

To introduce students to basic electronic prototyping and testing. Students should become competent in safely building simple electronics circuits.

Learning Outcomes

  • Explain the constructional details and functions of basic components of a breadboard, oscilloscope, power supply, and signal generator.
  • Build systems that include power supplies, DC motors, wireless communication, and microcontrollers.
